Whitefang - Round 1

 

 

 

Konrad Whitefang settled in his new home.  After Count Vladimir's middle-of-the night declaration, all the humans had been moved to the peasant huts down by the water.  That left the merchants' old homes available.  As leader of the pack, he had first choice.

But he was finding it lonely by himself.  Luna & Lycan Darkmoon were right next door, but it was different than always being together.  He called the local pound to see if there were any puppies to adopt.

Konrad whistled low under his breath as Kitty walked to the vehicle to get his new puppy. 

Such a cute little guy.  Konrad quickly named the puppy Tank.

Luna and Lycan came over to get their orders.  It would be their job to patrol the shoreline and make sure the humans completed their chores and the markets ran smoothly.  "Should be easy enough," Luna said nonchalantly with a small, dismissive shrug.

"It doesn't matter if it's easy," Konrad barked.  "We will do our duty until we are released."

"No, you're right," Luna quickly responded, chastised.  "I'm sorry."

"It's time," Konrad told them, transforming into werewolf form.

His pack quickly followed his lead.

Konrad let out a jarring howl and then the pack headed out to patrol the kingdom.

Konrad's favorite place to patrol was the market.  The following morning, he sent Luna and Lycan to patrol the castle walls and he headed to market alone.

His first place to stop was the inn for a quick meal.  If a traveler was in need, there were a few rooms upstairs to spend the night for a few coins.

His next stop was to the tavern to grab a drink.

 

He patrolled the gypsy's market and tried the bubble-blower.  

 

 

The most fun was to be had throwing axes. 

 

Konrad felt bad leaving Tank alone for long periods of time.

Thankfully, Kitty was able to help him out.

 

He nuzzled Molly's nose.  "You're going to like it here," he told her. "You are part of my pack now."

 

Tank and Molly were fast friends.

 

Thankfully, Tank was able to jump up on the bed when he needed some time away from the rambunctious little puppy.

 

 

Konrad was finding it hard to find someone that interested him.  He could barely refrain from baring his teeth when he saw Lycan dancing with Kitty at his get-together.

Apparently he didn't do such a good job of containing the wolf.

 

And then kept striking out with the ladies.

 

 Practicing the ancient form of yoga helped Konrad calm down. 

 

Konrad hated spending money, but it was well worth finding his soulmate - Wendy Lum

The date was going well.  Konrad was glad the matchmaker was good at her craft.

Although it was shocking for Wendy when he transformed into his wolf form.

 

She didn't shy away when he kissed her.

 

Their relationship was progressing quickly, but the two lovebirds couldn't get enough of each other.

 

Wendy especially liked how Konrad looked in his uniform.

 

She even liked his dogs.

 

The next step was only logical.

Wendy joined his pack.
